Sculptaseat® is an innovative new concept in rider technology that solves a personal problem – the comfort and performance of modern saddles in providing seat aid amplification and musculo-skeletal support.
At the heart of the Sculptaseat® concept is a simple but effective orthotic system (patent pending) which allows the rider to customise the shape of the seat of their saddle for their own pelvic anatomy.
The original concept for Sculptaseat® was created by myself and Jane Cumberlidge, with expert input from chiropractor and fellow riding coach Dorothy Marks. Sculptaseat® has received innovation support from the Starter for Six programme from the Cultural Enterprise Office, Scotland, and the Design Council’s SPARK Programme.
